Welcome to Catechesis Pieces – an audio catechetical journey through the Revised Mass Texts of the 3rd Roman Missal to be implemented on November 27, 2011.
The goal of this series of recordings is:
- to give a brief history of the Roman Missal – Post Vatican II
- to share the process of how the 3rd Missal was developed
- to examine the actual changes in liturgical language from the 2nd Missal to the 3rd
- to review the ritual structure of the Mass itself
Sheil’s Director of Music and Liturgy, Angela Stramaglia has created easy to follow MP3 audio files that are downloadable to your computer or Smart-Phone. In order to easily follow the recordings you may wish to download the Order of Mass from the USCCB website before beginning.
